The kids got Dora backpacks (well, Judah got the Diego Rescue Pack, to be specific) for Christmas, and they've loved using them to go on "adventures." On the Monday after Christmas, Tony totally showed me up with his ambitious parenting skills as he took the kids on a mystery adventure with their backpacks. They trekked in the woods behind my parents' house and then took the dog on a walk. Both things I would never ever consider doing. Because I like to keep things contained. And myself sane.
That picture is how I found them when my mom and I drove back into the neighborhood after a morning out. So. Adorable. What a good daddy.
